Who Is Ma Prakriti?

A Question That Changed My Life

Whenever visitors come to Prakriti Mandir, they are naturally drawn towards the serene figure of a graceful woman seated peacefully, holding the Earth in one hand and blessing humanity with the other.

Almost everyone asks me the same question:

“Who is this Goddess?”

I smile and answer,

“She is Ma Prakriti.”

Some think she belongs to an ancient scripture.

Some assume she represents a particular religion.

Others believe she is a new deity.

The truth is much simpler.

Ma Prakriti is not the founder of a new religion, nor the symbol of any one faith.

She is the name I have lovingly given to Nature—the living creation through which I experience the Creator.

My Journey

Every person has a different path to God.

Some discover the Divine in temples.

Some in mosques.

Some in churches.

Some through meditation.

Some through sacred scriptures.

My own journey has been different.

For over fifty years, I have searched for God not only in places of worship but also in forests, mountains, rivers, oceans, flowers, birds, butterflies and every form of life.

Business took me to many countries across the world.

I visited magnificent monuments, met people of countless cultures, and experienced different religious traditions.

Yet, wherever I travelled, I discovered one truth that never changed.

Every human being—irrespective of nationality, religion or language—depends upon exactly the same gifts.

The same air.

The same water.

The same sunlight.

The same soil.

The same trees.

The same biodiversity.

The same Earth.

That realization slowly transformed my understanding of spirituality.

The Greatest Temple Ever Created

Long before humanity built temples, churches, mosques or monasteries, there already existed the greatest sanctuary ever created.

Its roof is the sky.

Its floor is the Earth.

Its lamps are the stars.

Its music is birdsong.

Its fragrance comes from flowers.

Its sacred waters flow through rivers.

Its pillars are forests.

Its walls know no boundaries.

Every human being is born into this temple.

Every human being depends upon it.

Every human being eventually returns to it.

For me, this eternal temple is Nature itself.

Why I Call Her “Ma”

Why Mother Nature?

Because no one gives more selflessly than a mother.

Before a child learns to speak…

Before a child learns gratitude…

A mother has already given everything.

Nature does exactly the same.

She gives us our first breath before we know what oxygen is.

She provides water before we understand thirst.

She grows food before we understand agriculture.

She offers medicines before we understand science.

She fills the world with beauty before we learn to appreciate it.

Without expecting anything in return.

How could I call her anything other than Ma?

Nature Is My Medium to Experience God

People sometimes ask me,

“Do you worship Nature?”

My answer is always the same.

No.

I worship God through Nature.

Nature is not God.

Nature is the most beautiful expression of God’s creation.

When I sit beneath an ancient tree…

When I watch the first rays of sunrise…

When I hear birds welcoming a new morning…

When I see a seed becoming a mighty tree…

When I observe a butterfly emerging from its cocoon…

I feel the presence of the Creator.

Just as a magnificent painting reminds us of the artist,

creation reminds me of its Creator.

For me, Ma Prakriti is the living medium through which I experience God.

The Divine Signature in Every Particle

Modern science has revealed something extraordinary.

Every atom in our body was once part of stars.

Everything in the universe is interconnected.

Every living organism shares the same fundamental elements of creation.

This scientific understanding has strengthened—not weakened—my spiritual belief.

If one Creator has created this magnificent universe,

then every part of creation carries the signature of its Creator.

Not because every particle is God,

but because every particle reflects the wisdom, beauty and intelligence of the One who created it.

A signature is not the artist.

Yet it tells us who created the masterpiece.

Likewise,

every leaf,

every flower,

every river,

every mountain,

every bird,

every child,

every human being,

and every living organism quietly points towards the same Divine Source.

That is why, wherever I look,

I see Ma Prakriti.

Worship Through Responsibility

If Nature is the Creator’s masterpiece,

then protecting Nature becomes far more than an environmental duty.

It becomes an act of gratitude.

Planting a tree becomes worship.

Protecting a river becomes prayer.

Saving wildlife becomes compassion.

Reducing pollution becomes responsibility.

Growing forests becomes devotion.

Teaching children to love Nature becomes sacred service.

For me, environmental conservation is not merely an ecological movement.

It is a spiritual responsibility.

The Birth of Prakriti Bandhu

These thoughts eventually gave birth to Prakriti Bandhu, which simply means

“Friend of Nature.”

Our mission is much larger than planting trees.

We want to rebuild humanity’s forgotten relationship with Nature.

Because people protect only what they love.

And people love only what they understand.

The greatest environmental movement will not begin with laws.

It will begin in the human heart.

The Dream Called Prakriti Mandir

This philosophy eventually inspired another dream.

Prakriti Mandir.

Not another place of ritual.

Not another monument.

But a living sanctuary where people can reconnect with Nature.

Where children learn biodiversity by experiencing it.

Where silence becomes meditation.

Where every tree becomes a teacher.

Where birds become musicians.

Where flowers become prayers.

Where conservation becomes worship.

Where every visitor leaves with one realization:

Nature is not outside us.

We are Nature.

My Invitation

I do not ask anyone to accept my philosophy.

Every person walks a unique spiritual path.

But I invite you to pause for a few moments.

Stand beneath a tree.

Listen to the wind.

Watch a sunrise.

Feel the rain.

Hold a handful of living soil.

Observe a butterfly.

Watch a flower bloom.

Ask yourself one simple question.

Could such extraordinary beauty exist without purpose?

For me, every answer leads back to the same place.

To Ma Prakriti.

She has been my teacher.

My inspiration.

My companion.

And the most beautiful medium through which I have learned to experience God.

Become a Prakriti Bandhu

You do not have to build forests to become a Friend of Nature.

You can begin with a single step.

Plant one tree.

Protect one bird’s nest.

Save one litre of water.

Reduce one piece of plastic.

Teach one child to love Nature.

Inspire one more person.

Small actions, repeated by millions of people, can transform the future of our planet.

Together, let us protect Ma Prakriti—not merely because our survival depends upon her, but because gratitude to the Creator is best expressed by caring for His creation.
